Anybody know a place to buy an ereader in Mauritius?  Kindle, Sony or whatever.

Julien

Orange sells the samsung tablet, but that particular one is pretty expensive (around 30K rs)

Your best bet is to order it online from Amazon and have it shipped to Mauritius.

HeyJude

Yep agree, order the Kindle on line with Amazon, it ships to Mauritius in about three days.  I love my Kindle :-)

Hi. I would like to order a Kindle from Amazon. Is there any import duty payable? How long does it take to get here.

HeyJude

Hi Ptagirl - I have responded to your private message.  Yes it can arrive in as little as 3 days and yes you have to pay duty on it.  From memory it was somewhere between 1 and 2 thousand rupees and I think that included the leather case and the light I bought with mine.
