Home schooling

Krithnya

Hi everyone,
I am a mother of a 6 year kid who is mild autistic. We live in Gaborone, Botswana. I can't find her a place in any school because of autism even though she is good in academics at a very high level than her age so planning to start home schooling. But I don't know even the abc's of it. Can someone guide me:-)

Hi krithnya,

Welcome on board  :)

Perhaps just a little question so that members may help you. Would you rather teach her yourself or prefer an experienced teacher/tutor for home schooling ?

There are some fb groups and blogs (quick internet search) concerning homeschooling for children with special needs, maybe you should go through them and gather as much information as possible.

All the best,
Bhavna

Hi.
I stay at home and prefer to teach on my own. I surfed all those blogs but I am not aware where to shop curriculum etc.
