Well, it depends what activities you're interested in! You'll have to tell me. There is a gym in the Beach area, but no sporting facilities. There are plenty of bars and restaurants along "The Strip". I guess that much of your socialising would depend to a large degree on where your home was and what people you met.

All but a few places are pretty safe; people will tell you where the unsafe ones are, quickly enough.

Hi Gordon.   Thank you for helping out.    I enjoy socializing and meeting new people.  That's important since I don't anyone there.   Based my 4 trips there, it seems like most bars, restaurants, etc. are on Seven Mile Beach area.   Rum Point is beautiful too, but a bit on the quiet side and somewhat far from the main areas.
