Do you recommend working in a Doha hotel?

Well, I'll give it a shot. I was in Doha over christmas for a few days. Came over from Bahrain. Before I went, I didn't know quite what to expect, but when I got back..I got all my assumptions cleared up. Doha is quite boring. Very little to do. At least for a 30'ish liberal who enjoys a good party. The hotel bars are full of guys..so unless you like dating other guys, not much hope really of finding prospective dates there... 
Well..I'm sure it can be figured out if you live there. I probably didn't go to the right places, though everyone keeps on saying the Irish bar in the Sheraton was the best place to go. I found it rather depressing and bleak. They did do Erdinger though, which is far superior to Heineken, so that was a bit of a treat.
