I think the GOL was right, you don't just shove someone in the water like that FFS get to interview them atleast prior to shoving them.

Man, I cried, this was funnier than the fake hangings for the 40th celebrations.....

I wish I could say this is the exception not the rule.  But in the past few years of coming back and forth to this country it is sadly more the rule.  Thanks Mo for sharing

I think it is safe to assume that 99.99% of people who turn up for a course in underwater demolitions can swim, don't you ?

It should be similar to them sending someone to the US or the UK to attend Uni. they usually make sure they speak English or have them go through a year or so of English before as a prerequisite.  I would think swimming would be a basic prerequisite for a technical diving course.  But that would be my logic.

Yep!

And that's just the screening test.

Yes, that's trying to use Tripoli airport when the Hadj is on.

Back to the poor froggy issue ....
Well, obviously Italians believed GOL will send somenone who is capable (at least) to follow the course.  I don't know WHY they had any trust in their selection, but it is one perfect lecture for Italians (and all who like to learn from somebody else's mistakes. And yes, it is not an exception, it is a rule.
The best part is answer from GOL ..."you should learn him to swim" ....   :lol::lol:
