I just joind this forum and felt like leaving a message :)

I came here in September ( from Belgrade, Serbia ) to do my master 1 and I'm probably going to stay here next year as well. I do want to improve and activate my spoken French but I'm also looking for some English-speaking friends too :)

I'm teaching English and working as freelance translator from time to time.

Milica

thanks everyone :)

as a matter of fact, I already know some places, since I've been here for more than a semester. Yet, I'm not sure if my suggestions will be interesting to you guys...but anyway, if someone wants to discover the LGBT and gothic/metal scene of lyon, let me know :)

some of my friends started the students association, for meeting other international students, so this could be very helpful for you naurik, take a look, they will be organizing lots of events

Hi Milica,

I'm new to this site, I just registered today.  I actually just arrived in Lyon this week from the US and was looking to meet some new people (and since I don't speak French very well, I thought I would start here).  I noticed your post about the LGBT scene in Lyon.  I would love to know more about it if you have the time to discuss it. It would be great to talk to someone who has the inside scoop.  :) Thanks!

Milica

Hey,

so this forum isn't dead after all :) Coming from the US I'm not sure you'll find the scene all that interesting, but since you're already here, it's better than nothing :)

Talk to you soon
