Considering the live streaming on sites like cricitime.com, I would guess we wouldnt be loosing much time seeing the match.
Match starts at 12 PM RIYADH time and we cancelled all our meetings on that day decided that we will screen it on a big screen with the projector; So no work, nothing else on that day, Drink , eat and watch cricket. Having expatrites with cricket enthu arround will help.
Cant wait more for that match.
India's dream of a World Cup triumph at home is one step closer , yes it won against Pakistan and now will meet Sri Lanka in the final on April 2nd.
What a match, Enjoyed every bit of it, 2 evenly matched teams, only difference at the end was discipline in the fielding, separated both teams by just 21 RUNS.
29 runs saradhi 29... lets not give em any more leeway than required!
I live in the pakistani area in khobar, and u should have been here man, after the indian innings, there were ppl out celebrating, because 260 was a small total and if boom boom afridi had really boomed, we would have been finished.. but after the match not a soul on the street!
now, missing the fireworks, the celebrations, and the possibility to make a lot of noise.. Sometimes when u really just want to celebrate, take the flag out and just make some noise, those time u really do feel if i do i might end up eating kabsa for a day or two ! if you know what i mean...

the joy of victory didnt gave me an opportunity to note by how many runs was the difference.
Thats the only part that was missing for me last night. Taking the flag out, make some noise and share the joy with others.
Receiving and Seeing wonderful pictures, videos from back home, from NRI friends in other places, Whole Indians were on the roads last night, party on till mid night and even they r partying as I speak, its just an amazing thing how sports can give joy
260 was a never small total on such a big electrifying, tensed matches. on any other day, it was equivalent to 300+.
Winning and Loosing is all part of life and any sports, but the joy of seeing a match that is amazingly closely contested and the feeling can never been forgetten

AArrrghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!
sorry nonz, but can I just say: GO INDIA!!!!
( and yes, I do know they will probably lose to Sri Lanka! )
Getting into the final itself is one hell of an acheivement and that too beating two teams AUS and PAK in QF and SF is not a mean achievement, so wt happens in Final is not something a lot need to worry about.
So its time to get some treat from our Indian friends better not leave them this way and try to chase them with an Afridi way lolzzz.......just kidding, the aim is to celebrate and enjoy fun with our indian friends.
I am already doing it thoroughly and have targetted pockets of many

hehehheehehe yeah they will..Srilanka been so Good and Pakistan was under dog itself,,,no one thought it would reach to semi final
Shahid Afridi-- Respect.
What he told the media is soo true..
But now GO INDIA!!
23 years is a long time, I have had enough of my parents, uncles, etc, telling stories of Kapil and the 1983, This is my gen, I need to make stories too.
No Jayawardene ton had ended in defeat. No World Cup final ton had ended in defeat. No home team had won the WC on their home turff Until today.
All history records broken and INDIA WON THE WORLD CUP and ARE THE WORLD CHAMPIONS OF ICC CRICKET WORLD CUP; against all odds, with no contribution from Sachin, the Young Bregrade has done it.
Picture perfect send off to SACHIN on his last world Cup Match.

This doesnt take away anything from other teams, this is world cup, every team, every player contributed and my final hurrah for Murali, the genius, the enigma. You are a legend for ever & always.

We dont need to listen old 1983 stories now BHAI, we r part of this and now we will start telling the stories how india won the WORLD CUP in 2011 and wt we witnessed, the captain cool DHONI reserving his magic to the final, Young bregade winning the world, the self beleif, the Guru Gary, SAchin's contribution to this team for the last 20 years, his records, his profile, wt more?????
Congratulations......
Many congrats to all Indian fellows
yeah i m so happy for u guyz
heheheheh yeah yeah.........I thought u guys bought it
Bought it???????????
i am missing roadside Jalebi and paani puri right now!!! and a stone cold pepsi!!
@Nonz: Come on lady, that is not a fair comment . I am quoting Afridi here " Why do you hate India/Indians?" ..
Yes, I understand the India- Pakistan match has with it a lot of expectations on both sides. but then buying and all.. come on.. Not cool! It has happened, it happens and it will happen again, but then not every failure is bought, and not every victory is clean.
you know i think nonz was being a little tongue-in-cheeky when she congratulated india on the win, and thats what she meant by "i thought you bought it" her act of being happy on indias win, thats all... dude everyone is so touchy!!no one thinks that india fixed the match!
@Naz: Everybody is touchy.. oh heck yeah.
Lets not go over there. Dhoni shaved his head after the win.. from long hair to short crop to bald.. this is sure interesting!
hehehhehe Naz is right about my comment:D......cherh rehi thi na:P
The world is indeed a mixture of truth and make-believe. Discard the make-believe and trust the truth.
