Does anyone know if shea will grow at 2,000 - 3,000 meters elevation? I am moving to Peru in the next few years, and I think it would be interesting to try introducing a new cash crop in the area I will be moving to. I will be in the Andes, where the temperature and rainfall fit the needs of the shea tree, but I'm wondering if the altitude will keep the trees from being successful there.

Hello there,

I was actually trying to see what the local name for Shea is in Ethiopia.  I know that the tree is in the belt, but I can't locate it.  If you have the name, please pass it along
