Hi All,

I have been offered a job in Qatar as a teacher and will be moving with family.

Any advice on what questions I should ask the employer in terms of contract or what to expect to avoid dissappointment?

What should be salary expectation?

How long does it take to get to work in the centre around B ring from outside Doha?

Any information will help

Thanks in advance

Salary should be QR10-12k pcm for a teacher also check whether you get paid in July & Aug
Healthcare package
Flight back home
Transport to work (there is no public transport)
Accommodation & is it furnished, are services included (AC & water costs a fortune here)
Get it writing before you arrive as once you get here forget trying to negotiate up
Check your tracing load too
