Manuka honey in HK?

Post new topic

denmarker

hi guys, any website or stores in HK to recommend for manuka honey?
i like to buy some... sorry if i offend anyone, but because we do have our concerns about China good and china stores, you know what i mean?
and manuka honey is an incredibly easy health product to fake, and huge profits too, considering a bottle of manuka honey is like 50usd and a bottle of normal honey is probably 5usd.

i found this hong kong website Manuka Honey Hong Kong

went to it, checked out the parent company and found that the parent company is in Singapore, found their mother website Manuka honey comvita
Legit right? Singapore is a good decent lawful place right?

Hope you guys can turn me to the right place, or maybe a physical store in HK. New here, and to be frank, i do not even trust the nice looking stores... too many horror stories in china shanghai, to be frank.

thanks for your help in advance

Hi. I found it most supermarkets with the regular honey as well as in health stores.

ok thanks for your advice. these few days spent some time talking with hk colleagues.
realised they have a deep distrust of china goods and chinese supplies too. so basically will be quite safe to buy from their shops as they have their pride and ethics.

really happy to know they trying their best to be a different beacon in the chinese society.

Hi denmarker, Im a New Zealander living in Northern China. Do you know how much they are charging for the Comvita or any manuka honey. NZ has the best manuka honey in the world. We may be able to get something going if there is enough interest.

Comvita is about HKD$600+ for UMF10+ 500g I believe. I am keen to work something out with you if you have any interesting ideas.

Recently watched a TV program about this NZ company. They do send overseas so worth a look at least and contact them.  www.kiaorahoney.co.nz
