Kenyan in Indonesia

Post new topic

naomireza

Hello, good morning.
I'm Naomi from Jakarta. I want to learn about Kenyan in Indonesia who travel to Indonesia or live in Indonesia.  If you are Kenyan or knows any Kenyan in Indonesia, please let me know.  Thank you and have a nice day ahead!

Fred

Hi, welcome to the forum and welcome to my beautiful country.
I know there are some Kenyans in and around Jakarta but I have met only one or two of them over the years, and then only in passing so I don't know anyone well.

Perhaps your local embassy is aware of any social or cultural groups who live here - could be worth a trip or a phone call.

Another suggestion I always ad, that being to try to make new friends amongst the local population. A new circle of friends will help you get used to the country and make it feel like home.

Hi Fred thank you for your reply
actually I'm from Indonesia as well..
and currently I'm conducting a research about Kenyan in Indonesia to know more about their preferences so I can help them adapting here well.
I like the culture of Kenya that's why I do this little research.
unfortunately Kenya doesn't have embassy in Indonesia :(

I think it has a high commission. I seem to think I've seen it as I wandered around but I wander a lot so I could easily be wrong.
