At the rate I go to Thailand, I wished I stayed there.. If you guys need anything from Sg soon drop me a PM I will head to phuket in april
Hi all,
I just join this forum and came across this thread. After reading it, I feel envy as I'm really interested to find a work in Bangkok Thailand. Anyway i will be headin down to Bangkok this coming 5th may for a short gateway. Hope to meet anyone from this thread when I'm there and is able to advise or even intro some jobs to me. Have a great weekend everyone.
Hi guys n gurls!
Chanced upon this webbie, but, a little too late. A fellow Singaporean here, been living in Bangkok for the past 4 months. On exchange at Chula, and when I go back home (SG), I'll be graduating. Prob is, I have fallen in love with Bangkok and Thailand on the whole. I don't wanna go back home!!
Been sussing out for jobs in BKK but the pay is really low? How do I land myself a job here (with comparable salary to Singapore)? Or am I dreaming? I major in Communications- Public Relations.
I really don't wanna go back to Singapore!
"I'll be graduating" and you are giving up? you do not sound like a Singaporean. If you like to stay in Thailand you need to " sue sue" and your life will be better. And please do not compare with Singapore if you are back now you work 10 times harder. Cheers mate.....
lol.. im Singaporean laa.. with fighting spirit!! But some things how to fight for? Apparently, fresh uni grads here only earn 25k baht/ mth!!? N the highest is 40k. No doubt standard of living here is way lower than back in Singapore, and yes I agree the pace of work here too is way slower. But the bank account doesn't fatten up?
Hello folks - a bit out of the topics - I need to move back to SG soon and desperately need someone to take over my lease now .. the previous guy back out at the last minute (should have asked for the money first)
Anyway, know anybody?
The condo detail is in this link: http://bangkok.craigslist.co.th/apa/2993235047.html (hahaha note the 5000 cash reward thing)
Cheers mate - if anything my cell is 0889609425
yes that is Thai salary. I get laughed at by my Thai friends when I share my expected salary.. Lol. And my inability to speak Thai is another factor. Perhaps after working in Sing for a few years, I shall come back and haunt BKK with an expat salary.
Try to work for at least 5 years to get good experience and you might be able to get >80K
you can call me and talk about it and I am free to help you on any advise if I can. cheers
*anyone know what happened to my precious post disappear?*
Anyway hi everyone, i just finished NS and am very interested in working in bangkok. But the problem is that i only have a diploma in hospitality management and minimal work experience. Any advice on the kind of salary i can expect to receive if i go over to find a job straight after ORD? and if really not viable to do so, how can i work myself to a better goal.
caseyy you seem very experienced in the subject many can email me and give me some advice?
thanks.
Hi AndrewH,
Can yo please start a new topic concerning your job search on the Bangkok forum? Thank you.
Hi everyone,
I am new to this forum. Being here since 1st March, will be based here for work for at least a year. Specialising in residential sales & leasing in Bangkok. If you need any help, please do not hesitate to contact me.
As for those who want to find a job in Bangkok, i had the same dream as well 5 years ago. Was on the lookout but sadly, nothing came after so many job applications via Bangkok and SG companies.
The chance came only this year after I worked for a Singapore company and they had this opportunity open up for me after being in the company for 3 years. PM me for further advice or if you need assistance.
I am looking forward to make more friends regardless of which nationality. Keen for meet ups if there is any over the weekends.
Kelvin

Hi,
I moved to Bangkok about 4 months back with my husband who accepted a job here. With this recent move, I took the opportunity to do a career switch too, from a marketeer to a part time volunteer + yoga teacher.
