Can Malta wages be paid into a UK Bank account?

Hello all

My wife maybe getting offered a job in Malta and we wanted to know can she get her wages paid into a UK Bank account? and if so what are the disadvantages and advantages of that?

Also what do people recommend in terms of bank accounts in Malta? We will be renting so are worried about if theres ever any problems with the Landlord they could freeze the account?

What do people recommend? ie open a Malta Bank account and only have her wage go into that and all other monies in a UK or another Malta bank account?
Also if there was ever a freeze on a Malta Bank account for instance, couldnt say my wife just tell her employer to change her bank details and have her wages paid into another bank account?

Can this freeze that a Landlord apply to you account also be made onto a UK Bank account?
