At their funeral, the wife was not mourning or remorseful. She was happily talking to relatives, etc. Maybe shes hiding her guilt or sadness inside.

Lee I ,think your friend's and your experience are not enought to say that all VNse Women act like this. You know, maybe in the newspaper you've have just read is very rarely about this suitation which is for the men.
You know VNse suffered more than this.About the man in newspaper, I think he is just one of the few people. How can I say? Maybe he is a weak man, he dont dare to face to the truth.(I do not insult him).Newspaper just said that his wife cheated him, so he killed his children and commited suicide  (We really dont know what happened inside his family>>No one can know exactly). Is he very selfish when took of his childen's lives??
They have right to live.
  Anyway I think know he shouldn't do that.
(Maybe you just some newspaper about foreigners , about the VNse women's fate, you never know).

For most Sing girls, seeing is believing. They dont want to hear reasons behind it.

I think upsidedown has mistakenly type the wrong words (or typo error). I don't think she has this meaning, rather, I think she is trying to request Lee not to be too harsh on your comment . Nobody means to stir trouble here.

I just felt that we should not be looking at people's fault at time, rather, we should look at the bright side of thing (pessimistic).

One example is though we knew that it is difficult to understand your sentences at time, but your courage to continuously converse with us, I think it is commendable. The way of life is not to stop learning, but rather learn to accomodate.

If everything is so smooth sailing, there won't be suffering in this world. I think to have an enduring relationship, it is not about what we expect the other parties to be, I personally think it should be how we see the difference in each other and learn to cope with it.  If we keep clinging onto the past, it will be tough to swallow. We should embrace the future

i'm not worries, My E is not good, i want to everyone knows it. If i were afraid of foreigners have some laugh for my E, i could not come here and talking with everyone. So, don't be worry for me. My friends often make some order for me : " you have to learn more in new words, don't be lazy " But, i'm still lazy. So, i come here, and talking. Everyone makes me learns more new words and talking E better. ^^ misunderstanding, ^^

Example :

aeroplane. Ae-ro-plane

Intelligent = In-tel-li-gent

Complicated = Com-pli-ca-ted

So on................
