working visa

First of all what are you calling a "working visa?"  Do you mean a Temporary Residence Card (TRC) that is obtained together with a Work Permit (WP)?  Alternatively, do you hold a business visa, which is technically not how you should be staying in the country if you have a WP?  People constantly use the term "working visa" even though strictly speaking there is no such thing in VN.

If you look at a copy of your WP, you will see that you do not have a permit.  It is a permit for your employer to hire you legally.  As such it may be cancelled at their discretion, even if you paid the fees.  The TRC is something that you hold.  I believe, but am not 100% sure, that it is yours until it expires.

I would think that your working VISA is conditional to you having employment by the sponsoring company, hence if you are no longer working for them then you will no longer hold the working Visa.  It would not matter who paid for it, it is a matter of your employment status.

Can any one tell me what you needed to do to get a working VISA:

Specifically did you have to do a medical?  If so what sort of things did the medical cover?  i.e. checks on eyes, ears, blood, lungs etc. etc.
