My company is expanding our operations in China. We are in the B2B field that usually only deal with med size business. We want to find more large importers in China who are able to purchase large amounts per shipment.

Any idea or advice?

Finding B2B leads in China is not easy. Most Chinese B2B company relies on connections and networks. However depending on your industry you can always try getting leads and clients from the internet.

For example: WeChat is a big one in China.  There is a way to use WeChat official subscription account or service account and use content to attract customers. But it requires you to produce a lot of content, if you don't want to do that you can still use WeChat to keep in touch with prospects.

That  if you want to advertise in the B2B market in China you would generally need a Chinese website, as that's still the best way to present your company information. From there you can get emails or other information of interested prospects.

You can then add them on WeChat and follow up. But overall it pays to have a physical presence in China for B2B.
