Anyone with Aramco in Dhahran?

Post new topic

Keikosan

I've acquired some information from the ARAMCO site and ARAMCO world.  I would like more information about the culture on the compound and especially the limits for a single woman. Several years ago, I researched this information and saw that ARAMCO has a bus ladies can take to Bahrain for shopping etc.

I wish to know how I can transport to shop locally away from the Camp Commissary. Being that I am alone and Saudi does not allow women to drive. And of course, I must be accompanied.

Since I will be working during the daytime, I will be unable to use the shopping system for accompanied stay at home moms.

Thanks.

Hello,

As I know there are some buses ready for weekends from Dhahran to Bahrain as I know..
Plus there are some taxi's which are drop to Bahrain and the opposite there is bring to back..

Also you have a change to get driver from a company to use weekly or daily.
Plus if you need sometimes you can find a group to go together!
We did it before with some expats.. I can inform you about details if you want PM to me..

Regards & Good Luck
