Can we travel travel to bahrain if my visa has our old passport number.

Yes you can. Make sure you bring the old passport also with you. Show both passports at the Immigration Counter at the airport. They will stamp your new passport and make a note on it. Once you are in, hand over both passports to your office "passport/visa fix-it guy". They will arrange to get the visa on the new passport.

My wife she got job in bahrain but the problem is they make visa with old passport number so she can travel to baharin.

If the passport is valid then there is no issue. If the passport is expired and you have an electronic visa i.e. there is no sticker in the passport, it is best to get it corrected.
