Bahrain to Singapore.. comparisons

G'day,

I'm looking at moving to singapore in the next couple of months. Before signing the contract i'm wanting to find out the price comparisons from Bahrain to Singapore.

1. School fee's for expate kids
2. Housing prices in and around the airport or housing prices in and around expartriate populated areas for families

Hi,
1. School fee's for expat kids
SAS school fees is about 25K SGD per school year.
ISS is slightly cheaper based on grade level.
Have no idea about teh fees in other schools.

2. Housing prices in and around the airport or housing prices in and around expartriate populated areas for families.
A 4 bedroom landed house in Bukit Timah area( full of expat community)is in between 10,000 to 15,000 SGD, depends on location and state of the house itself. Apartment and condo is slightly cheaper. We saw several houses in Holland Village area and Newton/Novena that carry the same rental ceiling--not much different. Woodlands is a little bit cheaper since it is the other extreme end of Singapore.
