Anyone had problems with the above? Maybe I can help out

CaryandBabe1

Hi,

I  recently saw your post. Am from the US looking to Kenya, the Nairobi or Mombasa area, to be with my girlfriend. Seeking employment and housing. I have a BA in finance. I also have a passport and can speak English and basic Swahili.  Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I would just mention that you shouldn't really need any assistance with housing.  Anyone who you commission to help you will impose a charge for something that is easy to do yourself!

You should not leave finding housing to someone else.  Amongst other things, they don't know your taste.  There are also lots of scams and you could well lose money.  I would always recommend looking for and securing housing in person.   Its probably better to rent in the short term and rentals are on 6 month or 12 month contracts with minimum one month rent and one month deposit in advance (often more is asked for).

You can start by checking the following:

Can only help with the above matters, for employment you will have to apply on your own. For housing try hass consult
