My friend is an indian citizen living in saudi on family resident visa..passport is expiring on 10 september 2017..she is planning to visit india now and renew her passport in india.
I would like to know...can the passport be renewed in india?
What documents are needed for renewal in india for a saudi staying resident?
Do she face any problem while entering or exiting india?
The original family resident visa will be on the old passport which gets cancelled when applied or received for a new passport..does the immigration in india will trouble while going back to saudi when her new passport does not have any visa to it..
Will she be allowed to go back to saudi?
Please reply in detail.

Also want to know what will be the steps to be followed if she renews passport in india and what steps to be taken care after she goes back to saudi.
What will you all suggest- whether to renew it in saudi or in india?
