I'm thinking of moving from South Africa to the Netherlands

Hi there, I'm hoping to get advice & feedback... I'm currently in South Africa, seriously considering moving to the Netherlands in a few months, trying out a new lifestyle, etc, but need to do some serious research beforehand. ok here are a few questions to start: WORK: Is there a good demand for work? is it easy enough to get a job? what kind of jobs seem the majority in demand? Oh and very importantly - I only speak English & Afrikaans (not Dutch)... is this a big issue with regards to getting a job? Is there a decent sized community that speak English over there? RENT: What is the average rent cost per month for a small 1 bedroom / studio? Is it easy to find a place? (as I'd need to find a place in advance before I fly over there so that I'm all set up etc as I know no-one at all in the Netherlands) If there is any other advice anyone else can offer - please do. thanks!!! really appreciate it!
