You are an expatriate living in Cork, or you used to  work and live in Cork.

Share your expat experience!

How would you describe life in Cork?

Has it been complicated to settle down, to find a job, and an accomodation?

Is it complicated to make friends in Cork?

What would you recommend to people who would like to live in Cork?

Thanks in advance for your participation

Hi everyone! My husband and I are looking for an apartment or house in Cork City - and we're having quite a hard time at it!
We are looking for a place that allows us to have room for our new friends to feel comfortable hanging out :) and there are units available for rent, but we find that that the rooms tend to be rather tight, with very little walking space!

Does anyone else share this experience? Or  the opposite? Or any tips?

Many thanks!

Look at midleton. It's on the train and bus route. You won't get a large house in the city center.
