An American citizen needs help with french work permit

I am a 53 year-old American professional single female. I currently live in California. I would like to relocate to Paris in the next few months when i retire from the teaching profession. I would like help getting a work permitin France so I can continue to teach part-time.

I need some pointers as to how to proceed?

Dear eseluodolu,
In France like in the US to have a work permit you need to have an employer. As you are a professor, I think you have a good chance to get a job. Search only on private sector, 'ecoles de langues' and universities.
