Advice on how to find a house

Post new topic

Nathalie0805

hi there,
We are moving to Mauritius at end June and we have started looking at wwww.lexpressproperty.com to find a house. Do you have any advice on how to find a house in Mauritius. We will based in the North... looking at the Pereybere area... on the beach... for a year :)
Let me know if you have any advice for us, perhaps which agents to use, or if you know of a place that is becoming available?
Would love to hear from you,
Have a great day!

We have successfully used Island Residences to rent two different properties and have a number of friends who have also used them.  Good local guy who is very helpful by the name of Manoj owns the company. He sometimes has properties that other agents also have for considerably less monthly rent.  islandresidences.com

We have made use of an agency that concentrates on longterm rental and and NO FINDING FEE was involved! Most agencies ask for a finding fee equal to a months rent from the owner as well as tenant. We had a extra Rs30 0000 in our pocket and a house that feels like home away from home.
