hello everybody,

I worked and lived in Dubai nearly 3 years, but I came back to my home country 3 years ago as I wanted to. Now I am thinking to come back, but still not sure 100% about it. I have 2 job offers, good job offers, but I am thinking about social life, expenses because let's face it... Dubai is an expensive place to live, friends, family, etc.

My question is, how Dubai has changed over the last 3 years? How the world wide economical recession has affected Dubai? How do you see it on long term? I know that the rents droped down, but still how are the other aspects of living in Dubai nowadays?

Dubai is ok for now. I have been here and life is the same. You need just to love the place. But you can only compare two things. You have lived here and you are living in your home country now. How do you see life there?. Remember no place is better than home.
But you can still make Dubai your home. Note that the worst is when you are here and you have no job. ooppsss. i cant imagine.

I would tell welcome back to dubai. the situation is much improved and u can live without any hassels here. u can get house as per your budget and expenses always depend on individuals, i hope u got it. i wish u all the best.
