Hi,

I will be moving from India to Singapore. It would be great if some one can share the details on monthly travel pass. Is it available for expat?

If it is available, what is the cost for one and how will I get it?

There are no commuter passes in Singapore.
You always pay for each trip you take with a stored-value, contactless card, which you need to purchase.

You can purchase the card at the MRT station or 7 Eleven shop - i think it was marginally cheaper at 7 eleven.
You then top it up and use it. So every time you enter the MRT station, you touch it on the reader and it shows you the value left on the card. When you exit the MRT it will deduct it from your card (depending on the distance you've travelled).

You must have a minimum of 5 or 10 SGD on the card, i cant remember exactly.

Hope this helps..
