Category A Driving License in Spain

I'm hoping somebody can give me some clear information on obtaining a category A driving license in Spain. So far I know I need to get an A2 license and then 2 years later I get the full A license.

What I have doubts about is how do I get a provincial license or learners permit in the first place?

If somebody here has experience with having gotten their A or A2 license in Spain could they please tell me the exact steps or send me a link to where I can apply for a learner's permit.

Also if anybody knows of a good school in the Barcelona area, please feel free to suggest it to me. One school here gave me a price of about 1200 euro for lessons and the test and everything I need to get the license. Is that an OK price?

You have A1 for light bikes , A for bikes and then B for cars …
According to the price, normally you will pay for the theory classes, and when you pass the theory exam you will pay for the practice classes... but some people doesn’t pay for the theory ,because  they pass their theory  exam like free student ( outside from the driving school) the just pay I think about 80euros ..
When I did my driving license, I paid 400euros for the theory and  15days practice classes  cost me  around 500euros … but the price depends to regions so for me I think that 1200euros It’s too expensive
