Are you living in Namibia? We need you to share your experience of the local customs :)

Is it difficult to adjust to the local customs in Namibia?

Could you please share with us a list of the do's and don't's in Namibia?

Thanks!

Any safety tips would apply to  Namibia(windhoek) but i want to emphasize some
DON'Ts:
walk alone late at night on the outskirts of windhoek and even though the town is  ''safe'' you should walk in group.

Buy anything from strangers who approached you on the streets, the items may be cheap but they are either stolen or  low quality.

Do your groceries at the end of the month because that's when the locals get paid consequently the malls, shops, streets, bars get crowded and there's also traffic jam.
Make noise as in loud music so late at night because you will have a guest knocking at your door: the police.

DO:
take extra care when you are driving as accidents have been quite frequent.

double check your items when getting off a cab it was reported that many people forget their belongings in  cabs.

Respect the locals and their culture. Even if they annoy you please maintain your composure you are in their territory. Just have fun and enjoy your stay.
