Hello,

Need a bit of advice. I'll be moving to KL and am planning to stay around Jln Ampang/Ampang Hilir area and my workplace is at Ulu Klang industrial estate. I should be working regular hours (weekdays - 8 to 5). My questions are:

• Would it be more economical to buy a second hand car (all costs included ie road tax, petrol etc) - locally made or to use grab/uber on a daily basis (to and fro)? Based on initial estimates from a website, fares range between RM 5-8 per trip (excluding surge during rush hours so expecting it to me higher in reality).
• Any experience with obtaining grab/uber cars in these areas? To and from jln ampang/ulu klang industrial estate?

Thanks a mill.

It's heavy traffic around that area. As cars are relatively expensive probably try Grab to start with and see how it goes. DVLA website contains information about how to get your British Licence authenticated so you can use it in Malaysia.
