Are you living in Tunisia? We need you to share your experience of the local customs :)

Is it difficult to adjust to the local customs in Tunisia?

Could you please share with us a list of the do's and don't's in Tunisia?

Thanks!

Sebastiano

hello, concur with previous comment. Genrally people are quite friendly here, minus a fair chunk of the usual landlords :-) ... the arabic spoken here is very different from high arabic. French is widely spoken, but the usual bunch of nice words in the local dialect help to get started.

hi, I'm half Tunisia, Half Ukrainian, But i spent the most of my life in Tunisia.

Personally i agree with suereyesjohnson, only on this point:
"Do not discuss religion with anyone"
most of the people accept the fact that u are non Muslim only (if your parent aren't of course^^). and speaking about religion is not so... forbidden.

Another point, there a re great people in Tunisia, but a big part of the population try to be crafty with strangers (non Tunisians), So try to make real friends.

ps: i regret: "No public display of affection" :(
