Hello everyone,

What bills do you pay? If you are renting, are bills included in the price of rent, and is this common practice in Cuba?

How can you pay your bills (e.g. online, at provider's store, at the post office)? Which is the most convenient or reliable way?

With what frequency are different bills sent in Cuba? Are there different deadlines for payment?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Usually the bills and everything is included in the rents. Electricity, gas. Television is public with antennas. Since private internet is prohibited except for those close to the regime, you have to pay wifi cards $2,50hr for internet and access cards for cell with expensive rates at the Etecsa communication office (usually lines of people waiting). Most people use sms. Cubans pay their residential phone bills at the Etecsa office before the end of the month so you dont go there on the 30th!

Hi, bills are generally included in rent. Water and electric bills are paid directly to the individual that comes around, this is at our house in San Miguel anyway.
