Are you living in Czech Republic? We need you to share your experience of the local customs :)

Is it difficult to adjust to the local customs in Czech Republic?

Could you please share with us a list of the do's and don't's in Czech Republic?

Thanks!

I blogged about this in my Prague Expat.com in the category "basics", my favourite tips would be:

Do's

Give up your seat in tram, bus, metro for elderly people, women, everybody that needs it more than you.
Speak "sotto voce".
Bring flowers and/ or a bottle of wine when invited to somebody's place.
Take your shoes of before entering somebody's flat/ house/apartment.
Say hello and good-bye in Czech when entering/ leaving a shop.
Learn some basic Czech.
Be as friendly and as polite and as well-mannered your grandmother would dream you to be, i.e. be "old fashioned" in your cultural behaviour.

Don'ts

Speak in a loud voice.
Draw the attention to yourself.
Come with a hen/ stag/ bachelor party.

Hope that helps somebody, feel free to add to the list ;-) SY
