Golf Al Khobar

My Husband likes to play golf, then a little more golf and then perhaps another little bit more golf after that. This looks like it might be a problem in Al Khobar. He is not an Aramco employee. He considered having a shot (you've got to have a little joke) at desert golf, but this seems to be closed. Any advice from those on the ground?
