Arrival date to colombia after the tourist visa ends

Hello,

I entered colombia on the 18th of December 2016, I had spent 3 months on a tourist visa then extended and recieved 3 more months. then my total of 180 days was over and I left colombia. I heard that every calendar year it is allowed to stay in colombia for 180 days on a tourist visa. but since I entered the country in 2016 it means that I didnt spend all my 180 days in one calendar year. I spent 13 days in 2016 and 167 in 2017. So my question is when can I go back to colombia? can I go back there at december 18 2017? or do I need to wait until 1st of January 2018?

Since you have told us you have 13 days left to visit Colombia as a tourist this calendar year, you may re-enter on December 19, 2017.

December 19-31 = 13 days. Even if you enter Colombia at 11:55 p.m. on a given day, that date is considered one of your permitted days.
