Hi,

I have just attended a sufi (dervish) dance & music night festival. It was simple amazing: starting with the location (XVI century building) and continuing with costumes, music and dance.

I would encourage all of you that want to get in touch with older traditions and to enjoy authentic Islamic music and dance rituals to taste it.

Sufi dancing as well can be found in El Hussein "old cairo" souq elghoreya, every sat n tuesday, 6 to 9, free admission
