Foreigners marrying in Egypt

Post new topic

cherazi

Hi all,

I would appreciate some advice, I will be marrying my partner who is from Tunis and i am from the UK but we both live in Egypt, So both of us are foreigners who will be marrying in Egypt.

I wanted to know by law if i marry someone in Egypt would it be possible for him to be entitled to any of my assets that are in the UK if we ever divorce or would it be Egyptian Divorce law that is followed?
I am very confused and just want to protect myself.

Thank you

no relation between marrying here and entitling your properties in UK. besdide in egyptian divorce law when you get divorced he should pay you and monthly salary if he is muslim.
you can look for lawyer for more detailed information.
