Freelancing in Oman, Soon to be newbie

CVChadwick

Hi Everyone. My name is Courtney and my husband and myself together with our new baby boy, will be moving to Muscat from Johannesburg South Africa in february 2018. I am currently a freelance Makeup Artist and Hairstylist and would like to try carry that on when we move next year. I'm looking for advice on the best way to go about working on a freelance basis. Is this possible? I also have a small jewellery range that I would love to bring over as well. Any tips or advice would be great!  Thanks!!

We couldn't give you an advice which may be encouraging for being a freelance.

Just remember that doing a freelance in Oman is considered illegal and you can only perform a job if you have a valid (related) visa for the same. On a family joining visa, you can not perform any job but to stay.
