Swimming and Basketball Leagues

Hello! New to Shenzhen and I'm looking for a place to swim...but more of a competitive-type swimming environment--with sets, clock, basically a workout: 3000 meters per hour type stuff. Is there a pool available and/or a 'team' I can find to swim with?

Also looking for a basketball league to play pick up games.

Anybody know of anything along these lines?

Yes there are pools all over SZ. What you will need to do is find a GYM. They might have what you are looking for. The specifications that you call for will be on the upper end of the affordability tier. If you have ability I would suggest Nanshan, BaoAn, or Louhu as the best places to start looking.
