Hello everyone,

How is raising kids in Croatia different from raising kids in your home country?

What are the activities that your kids seem to enjoy the most in Croatia?

Do you feel that the country is "family-friendly"?

Do you recommend Croatia as a good place to raise kids? Why or why not?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Raising kids here has been a positive experience.  I don't have any other experience to draw from, since they were both born here in Croatia after I emigrated.

All I can say is it is a small community, everyone knows each other on a first name basis, we feel safe and there is not a lot of fear of kidnappers or other predators.  Maybe they do exist, but it feels very safe to be here.  Schools are fine, plenty of after school activities, and I think they are both getting a very good head start on life.
