Raising kids in Qatar

Priscilla

Hello everyone,

How is raising kids in Qatar different from raising kids in your home country?

What are the activities that your kids seem to enjoy the most in Qatar?

Do you feel that the country is "family-friendly"?

Do you recommend Qatar as a good place to raise kids? Why or why not?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Hello Friends,
Well ! I have two grown up kids they are living in Egypt now but in fact Qatar is a very friendly country by Qatari people whom have found them very down to earth, Moreover this country is very promising to grow up More .

Hi friends
well,  as in every aspect of life , I would agree relatively on the family friendly side and being safe place to live in.

Good Morning everyone,

It's really great to live with your family here. There are many events happening across Doha, you have really good beaches and Parks dedicated to families only. Schooling is a little hectic since they start at 6:30am onwards. However the schools are also very good. All in all the state does everything possible to keep the kids healthy and happy.

Forgot to mention the ministry  of education or SEC keeps a very close eye on all the activities of the school so the schools have strictly follow guidelines layed down by the SEC(I've seen all the emails sent to parents are marked as cc to SEC)

You ask any kid if there home country is good or Qatar, they most probably tell you it's Qatar which the like the most.

To conclude, I'll recommend everyone those who can afford should get their families here and have a good life here.

Regards,
Kashif
