I'd opt California....b'cos i guess i'm a beach luving person. NY, probably not. Also, I try my best to stay away from busy cities...dunno y i came to Riyadh...but i try myself to keep away...I simply don't like the lifestyle in big cities.

Hi Suzan, Welcome to Riyadh. Daily smile...has become a rare trait these days to see in a person. Infact, it's in the verge of extinction. Pple forget the expression of smiliing with their busy working schedule. Hope u wldn't loose it here.

Every day my driver takes me past a garden center, where the men sell their plants. The first month, each day I noticed a very sad looking Egyptian man, sitting alone amongst his plants. So I did the unthinkable; I would wave and smile to him. As each day, each week, each month passed by, this sad looking Egyptian man, who probably longed for his country, started to smile. His face would light up when my car would turn the corner.. I gave "the expat smile and wave". He knew I would never dare stop to talk to him, yet I had the courage to lighten the heart of a stranger, who learnt again how to smile. A smile cost nothing and it is food for the expat's heart..we are away from our families, our countries..we all have this common bond. So stop..and smile.

men and women are complete each other. There is no better than others.

i wish a beautiful lady would stop and smile at me once in a while!! lol :-p
