Applying for Long Term Visa

Post new topic

veiven

Hello !

I'm asking this on behalf of someone.
She is 19 this year.

My her mother is a Malaysian , however the mother is currently located in Japan.

From a Single parent family , custody is under the mother.

She have been living in Malaysia for 10 years with a student pass.

It seems they didn't apply for a Malaysian PR in the first place.  ( They didn't know about it )

The issue is once the Student Visa is done , she is required to go back to Japan right ?

Is there any ways possible for her to apply a Long Term Social Visit pass or any pass to work and stay in Malaysia ?

She have no intention to stay or work in Japan as her families are here, she doesn't even know her own language.

What nationality is the person and what passport(s) do  they have? I assume the person has Malaysian relatives perhaps they have stayed with while at school in Malaysia?  There is a Facebook group that may be most helpful - it is called Foreign Spouses Support Group and covers a lot of this kind of topic, i.e. the rights of children of Malaysians https://www.facebook.com/FSSGMY/

Nationality is Japan. Thanks ! I'll check out with the group.
