Good Morning Everyone,
I'm new to this forum so first time posting.
Some background info:
I'm A British citizen currently living and working in Saudi Arabia, I'm married to my spouse of 4 years (he's Pakistani) this is our 2nd year living together in Saudi.
I am currently pregnant and would appreciate your answers to the following questions please:
1. After birth will I be able to register my baby as a British citizen or not?
2. How long does the process take? From application till passport arrival?
As my family is in the U.k. I'd like to take my baby back for at least a month to visit them.

Have you considered going back you the UK to give birth and ensure you child has the same citizenship as you and your family?  I think it will make your life easier should your job in Saudi were to end or the KSA & Iran issues continue  to heat up?
In the current political environment most governments around the world are cautious of people from the GCC counties, which might cause you and child problems in the coming years.
It sad that I even have to mention that.  Because those of us who has spent time with Muslims people in GCC know this fear that other counties have is utter nonsense, as far as the majority of the citizens in this region are concerned.

Its just a thought!

Hey I have considered that however I'll be 8 Months by time I get time off from work and I highly doubt I'll be able to fly.

I would suggest that u should speak with your Embassy.

Mona☆

Hiii I will speak to the British Embassy soon, Just wanted everyone's opinions and if they've been through the process. I will give them a ring hopefully today and update.

Rucksack.frenzy Thank you so much for your input. The British Embassy was closed today in Riyadh so couldn't talk to them.
