question about living in Nagoya with young children

Hi all - We are eagerly anticipating a move to Nagoya in May.  We have a 2 yr old and a 7 month old and I am trying to decide if I should bring my double stroller for them (it looks like this: http://www.strollersdirect.com/images/max_image/350-1793.jpg).  I know it will not be great for getting on and off public transport, but feel like it would be necessary for getting around town with the kids since we will probably not have a car. Can I get some advice from people who live in Nagoya?  We do not know exactly where we will be living right now, but I am hoping things like grocery stores will be within walking distance (w/out using public transport).
Thanks!
Kim

oops - sorry for the huge picture!  I'd welcome any other advice about living in Nagoya with small kids.  We have never lived in a large metropolitan area with the children so this will be a big change!
