Dear All,

Is there any discussion happening within the ministry or any body on the removal or amendment of NOC regulation.

Hi Indian100,

Since the majority of locals and (hold your breath), expatriates have voted in favour of retaining the NOC, it is likely to continue.

This was done during the last Tanfeedh initiative for enhancing the economic diversification.

Dear Sumitran,

Yes i have noticed that voting but i feel it is more to do with the question the way it was put across "very confusing" that could be one of the reason why expatriate also voted in favour of retaining the NOC . Adding to this the voting has happened during some long holiday where in most of the expatriate could have been on holiday.

Otherwise i dont see any reason why expatriate want NOC to be retained.

Hope we can see a re-survey soon.
