Hi, I'd say that especially technical, scientific and medical professions are always in high demand in Israel and there is a high-level education in those topics so at the same time expect strong competition. Salaries for qualified professionals and managers are definitely good and there is a decent work-life balance, neither of those two things can be said for unqualified jobs (that aren't scarce either though).

Other important things to know is that the economy is mostly concentrated in the center of the Country and that the Defense industry, which is very well developed for obvious reasons, employs many people and does a lot of research in many fields but, due to its sensitive nature, is only accessible to residents and citizens with specific requirements.
