Hello,

What I can tell from the perspective of a person with very poor German language is that jobs demanding only English and some skills of course, are those within IT and Accounting Departments. Furthermore, for woman there are some jobs that a person can easily apply like babysitting, being a nanny, as household helps, walking the dogs etc. The conclusion is if someone has no German, he or she should learn it as soon as possible because even if the job is performed in English it is essential to be fluent in German (preferably Swiss German).
