I am relocating to Brussels on the 28th of Feb. We are looking for a cost effective solution for the house as it takes the maximum out of the pay check. Kindly guide me with the following on,

1) From a cost perspective, Is it good to rent a unfurnished apt / house and then we furnishing it later?

2) What would be the cost of shifting (Packers & Movers) the items (Tv, Fridge, Washing machine, Dining table, 2 seater couch and double cot)  if we decide to move to a different apt / house in future?

3) Good website to buy used home appliances?

Thank you in advance!

HI,

All these questions have been asked dozens of times before. Take the time to read the archives.

Finally, here is some brief information:

1) Yes and No. Yes Yes because you will have everything to your taste. No, because you will not have time to really look after the bargains ...

2) Almost nothing if you ask for help from your co-workers. Extremely expensive and uninteresting if you want to repatriate equipment from your home country. The standards are not the same ...

Tell us exactlybwhere work is and if you have dependents and if you have any specific request- not near shops or public transport, that's everywhere. More like maximum commuting time, near a specific sports centre.
