Best area for American female to live. Needs ro be near metro L9 or 10

I'm an American female in early 50’s and will be moving to Shanghai in about a week. I’ve been told I should live near metro line 9 or10 as these go to my work in Minhang. I prefer living closer to city and deal with longer commute than out in family oriented suburbs. Have accommodation budget of 6000rmb but after looking, realized it will be necessary for me to pay more out of my pocket to get type of place that better meets my needs. Pet friendly, furnished one or two bedroom/bathroom with washer and dryer if at all possible. Any advice for best accommodation areas would be greatly appreciated!!!
